Our Roots
Who are we?
The Welfare Rights Organization is a grassroots community-based organization. A statewide organization with our main office in Orleans parish. WRO was organized in 1980 and is one of the oldest organizations in the community at large.
What we Do.
WRO provides services to the community at large in housing, education, public welfare, health and training. Our main focus is on health and therapeutic counseling due to the pandemic of COVID 19.
